BBQ coming to Bamberg

My memory is that Stockport was a pretty good place to drink back then. Lots of Robbies and old school Boddies pllus a smattering of other Manchester beers.
Newcastle, on theother hand, where I live now had one or two real ale pubs in the whole city, the rest being ScottishNewcastle. Now there are about 15 microbreweries within 20 miles of my house, all serving excellent real ale and some rather silly craft beer as well.
