| Well, don't forget www.BeerGuidePRG.com Evan's book is very much out of date, but some of the places in it are around and still decent. The brewpubs (as is everything) in the old town tend to be very touristy and relatively pricey. A lot of the "action" for interesting pubs are in neighborhoods like Vinohrady, Žižkov and Karlín The public transportation system is very good (and cheap) so you can get to the Old Town easily from these. I don't remember how old you are but if 60 or over you can get a monthly pass for under $10. (Free if 65 or older) |
