It juist occurred to me recently to saunter 220 down to the butcher's/café on the corner for a beer, and so I did just that yesterday afternoon. A lovely bottle of Kitzmann Helles then a lovely bottle of Gutmann Weizen.  This was followed by about FOUR MORE beers at home over the course of the evening, mostly my custom diluted Pilsner Urquell, but also a lovely, earthy, Dupont Saison Dryhopping.  In my defence, I was on an adrenaline high from fasting and intensive exercise. And Mrs, doggie and I were simply in a good mood for it. Not that doggie got any, mind. About half my caloric intake yesterday was from fermented barley. |
