| You mean the law? Well from what I have read, it's based around a couple of laws, one of which prevents the sharing of photos of people where they can be recognised without their permission. This includes sharing a photo with friends via Whatsapp. I think it's the sharing that is the crucial thing. Another law concerns showing people in helpless situations, and covers beaches or accident victims. However, there is even a clause that prevents you from sharing a photo of e.g. a person dancing badly, as it could be argued you are damaging their reputation. This last change was brought in in 2015, so has little case history. |
