Oh yeah the Spezial shoeing people out thing.  Yup had that experience a couple of times when I stayed there last summer.  I thought staying there for 10 days I might get a little leeway and not be shoed out before 10pm.  Nope.  But at least in Bamberg there are ample late night places that one can fall back on.
