| I second Brauerei Hoehn, even if it's just for a quick glass of the one beer that they will be pouring (kellerbier), before venturing onward. Although it's by no means my favorite kellerbier, I've always found it to be one of the more characterful (quite estery, rustic and balanced) examples around. And if one is going to enjoy a session, Brauerei Knoblach is the perfect place (for me, anyways). Nice kitchen and if you love bitter beer, the Ungspund's Lagerbier from the barrel will keep you happy for a while. And the very cleanly brewed Dunkles Landbier isn't too shabby either. |
