You ran the Bell? What a small world. You were there before my time (late '89 was when I started Bath pub crawls), but the Bell is a firm favorite and one of the pubs I invariably visit when in the city (usually immediately after the Star). The beer range is fairly stable with eight West Country beers including a couple of guests. The Hop Back Summer Lightning is invariably excellent. A cracking pub.
