Funny it was 2011 I did it as well and also in the dark. So maybe you're the one I saw going in the wrong direction? Just kidding (about seeing you get lost that is). I did do the walk first down the hill from Kreuzberg Kellers back to Roppelt's in the dark but from there it was a fairly straight shot taking the road. Only problem was the lightning storm at the time that scared the crap out of me.
