| You got me. We moved around with Ron quite a bit that day. And That Other Guy who was there. And Chris & his better half. I remember meeting up with Ron & mate at one of these, yes. But then we moved up hill and then back down hill. I also remember when Joachim Herrmann, an Erlanger of great distinction (now Bavarian Minister of the Interior), walked by us when we were at the Hoffmann's Keller. I said "servus", and he responded "grüß Gott". This and the time when I literally, nearly, ran into Helmut Kohl on the street in Erlangen comprise my two brushes with German political greatness. Oh, and I did observe Hr. Dr. Altministerpräsident Stoiber speaking at a rally in Erlangen once. |
