Andy brews all his beers bottom-fermented. Also his new beers in bottles:
- Russian Imperial Stout
- Amber Weizenbock
- Spelt Imperial IPA
- Smoked Impieral IPA
- 7 Grain Bourbon Double Bock.

2 reasons:
- Protection against contamination
- a better
course of degradation of aromas of hops
in combination of the used late hopping.

You can say it's a fault. But it's also a feature, an USP.

Look at the labels of his bottles:

You can read: "Bottom Fermented".

The Fatboy Braunbier has a top-fermented model:Oppigårds Fatboy Brown

You can say the new Gänstaller version is a bottom-fermented version of this ale. Because it is bottom-fermenteed, they use the name Braunbier. Ratebeer says it's a dark lager.
