A bottle o' beer from Spielbach

Wow - lucky person, that's an honour! By the way: The Goldochsen Spezial Hell seems to improve in the bottle. I don't know why, I'm no brewer. Maybe one of the semi professional guys here can explain what happens to the beer after it was bottled? I mean, before the bottle is opened again and the beer either drunk or used for extinguishing the barbecue... J.
