Yeah I love how so many buildings are blurred out in this country. There was quite a lot of discussion about it all a year or two ago. Because, heaven forbid someone see a photo of the building in which you live! Next thing you know, they'll come and see it in person! Anyway, it was a lovely, lovely, warm (hot) summer day auf dem Keller today in Stiebarlimbach. Didn't run into Jürgen there though, pity. Was the first time there in a week, and the beer was not as hoppy as it was last time. A couple of regulars say (as usual when this happens) that the beer is "too young" today, where another says it's the heat that makes you think it's not as flavourful as it normally is. I'm more inclined to agree with the former, as my Hausbräu is as hoppy as it always is, regardless of weather. Or simple batch-batch variation. FWIW, Franz (Roppelt) says he brews 3000 liters per batch, 3 times a week. In case anyone's keeping score at home.
