Dutch beer cafes and 'Open Brewery Day'

Thanks for the info. As it turns out, we won't be staying in Leiden, as I found B&B accommodation in Woerden instead, but it's still not far from Leiden by train. We will also plan to be at De Molen on Friday, and do a little touring by train on Thursday afternoon and Saturday. So far, two breweries that look the most interesting are Leidsch and Breugems. 7 Deugden might be worth a visit as well, but I'm guessing it will be time-consuming to get there on public transport.
