A couple of other new (to me) books I've seen recently are _Frankens schönste Bierkeller und Biergärten_ (http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/3936897360/qid%3D1148909974/028-5698979-5262131) and _Die neue fränkische Bierkarte_, which seems to be out of print. I just bought the former, and haven't yet really dug into it. I saw a bit of the latter the last time I was at Hummel--a group of Viennese (Wiener?) were there and we compared brewery books. Ironically, the only online reference I've found on the web ironically points back here to Fred's webbie. http://www.xs4all.nl/~patto1ro/bayrpubs.htm A very useful map, this one would be.
