Bus trips for a day out

What about the train? I *THINK* that one can buy the equivalent of a "day ticket" in Bamberg, which allows for unlimited travel within the Bamberb region--like what is available in the Nürnberg region. With the train, one could visit, Zeil (Main), Reckendorf (2 breweries), Baunach, Ebing, and Ebensfeld to the north; Hirschaid, Buttenheim, and Eggolsheim to the south. Since I live within the N-berg region, I don't normally have use for a Bamberg day ticket, and don't know if there even is such a thing. I shall endeavor to find out. Regardless, I have used the bus between Stettfeld, Dörfleins, and Bamberg. And I can't recommend Dörfleins highly enough... How far is "walking"? If you're up for a good walk between breweries, the choices are vast.
