I've never been to it yet, but the bottles of their "Lager" I've only recently found at my local bottle shop don't particularly impress. But then, many beers around here are much better on tap than in the bottle, and some vice-versa. I don't know if Fischer actually has a The Kreuzberg you're referring to is a destination in and of itself: three local breweries have beer gardens (Bierkeller) there, and in good weather, the place is simply not to be believed. Visiting Kreuzberg more or less negates the need to visit the breweries in Hallerndorf (although they do have other beers there not available at Kreuzberg), and a Kreuzberg visit can easily cause a couple of hours to disappear. I have yet to visit 2 of the 3 breweries that are at Kreuzberg, and I have yet to visit the brewery in Stieberlimbach, because the brewerie's *keller* there is so wonderful. And, it's just down at the bottom of the Kreuzberg hill. Ah, summer...... I can help you with biking maps when the time comes.
