OT: Android tablets

Lower end tablets will end up being frustrating. Spring for something that works well. New gen tablets range from sluggish to good performance. Over time, the performance can degrade a bit; I've seen it on my Sony Android tablet, probably because I need to remove a lot of photos and crap to free up space. Also, you'll be entirely dependent on WLAN, which can be rather dodge in Germany. I also now have an LG Android smartphone with 4G LTE service, so no longer care so much about whether WLAN is available or not.
