| Well, I thought this was a simple question. We did not wander into the Schlenkerla, we went there to have the best rauchbier in Bamberg. I mis-spelled the name because I was looking at a picture of the sign from a distance and the font was difficult to decifer. The only reason I mentioned it is to say I do not need a famous rauchbier example, just a good place to eat and have good local beer. We are passing through by car, so wherever is fine. I am interested in what others who have been there or live there enjoy, that is it. We like it all when it comes to German beer & food. |
