Good times in Zoigl Land! |

| We had a fantastic time in Windischenbach and Neuhaus. We began at Schlosshof, where we sat in the Garten. Very friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and very, very good beer. We stayed here about 4 hours, thinking we had better walk over to Neuhaus to check out Käck'n. (That is quite a hill to walk up to Neuhaus!) At Käck'n we sat with the owner, a Braumeister for 38 years, and were served by him, his daughter, his wife, and his grandson. Later we also met his son, who gave us a ride back to our hotel at 3 am! I certainly did not think these stubn stayed open that late, but it seems they keep going until the last person is gone! Overall a great time, and I will definitely go back. If the other Zoiglbiers are as good as these two, then it is well worth the trip. Cheers! |
